I'm an alumnus of this school and I think these comments about Mr. Rosmus are silly. I had basically all my lessons with him because that is all I could schedule and I was terrified because of what everyone had said. He is tough because he wants you to know that driving is serious business and can kill you. He taught me to be a safe driver. I have been driving for four years and have never gotten a ticket. I have been in two accidents, neither were my fault. I think if you act up and get yelled at, then it's your own fault.

Driving is an activity that offers freedom and mobility. It is also one that places a very large and potentially destructive piece of machinery into the hands of a driver. Education should be ongoing as teens learn to drive.

This is for practice time at home with any adult licensed driver (21 years and older).

Students who took the Adult Drivers Ed Course (ages 18-24) and individuals ages 25+ are still required to take the Road Skills Test with a local Texas DPS office.

This Road Skills Test is ONLY FOR TEEN DRIVERS ED STUDENTS.

“Baby Driver” is a heist film set to music. There is music in its mood, music in its movement, music in its characters, music in its message. And at the center of it all is a guy named Baby (Ansel Elgort) whose life revolves around the music in the tapes he has made. It is a unique way to fashion a film and when it comes to being different “Baby Driver” gets high marks.

According to NHTSA, drivers are less likely to use restraints when they have been drinking. In 2014, 47 percent of the young drivers of passenger vehicles involved in fatal crashes who had been drinking were unrestrained. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a study in October 2012 that showed that the percentage of young drivers who drink and drive has been reduced by half in two decades. The CDC said that in 2011, 10.3 percent of high school students age 16 and older reported drinking and driving in the previous 30 days, compared with 22.3 percent in 1991. The agency said the 54 percent decline was the result of stricter drunk driving laws and laws that restrict the hours teens can drive, along with a decline in driving itself, possibly due to the economy and higher gasoline prices. However, despite the decrease, nearly a million high school students admitted they consumed alcohol before driving in 2011.

Drunk driving: Underage drinking remains a factor in teenage highway fatalities. Twenty-one percent of drivers ages 15 to 20 who were killed in motor vehicle crashes in 2015 were alcohol-impaired, which is defined by a blood alcohol content of 0.08 grams per deciliter or higher, according to NHTSA. This proportion was higher at 26 percent in 2006. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety says that numerous studies since the 1970s show that when the drinking age is lowered, more people die in crashes. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that 537 lives were saved by the minimum drinking age laws in 2015. Since 1975 about 30,860 lives have been saved by these laws.
